I'm up late. I was planning on studying. Turns out I can't write anything. Nothing properly. I can only read. My writing is all block-y. It looks like something a fourth grader would write. How can I write my notes in the style of a fourth grader? How much thought goes into fourth grade writing any way? Not enough for what I need to remember. It's

It seems I get writing highs, as in I can just throw out a page of writing like word vomit (thanks mean girls). Then I will get a block in my brain and my writing just stops. I try to go back to it but it's like the high I had is gone. Like I just had the biggest sugar rush before the sugar in the blood runs out and i'm left with no energy.
I don't know how writers do it...I mean how can they throw out like 2-3 books a year. To me that seems very difficult.

I miss writing. These past few weeks I've been far too busy with exams to write. I'm planning, however. Mentally I'm always planning. A new scene always enters, a new idea always enters, which I have to write down of course, otherwise I forget. I hope I can write something this week, since I have more time.
Neil Gaiman once said there is really no such thing as writers block. Like gardeners never get gardeners block or hairstylists never get hairstylists block. Whenever he slams into a wall with writing he just writes something else. And he can. Maybe you can try that.

Thanks for the tip, Neil is awsome. I never did believe in writers block tbh. I just think sometimes we are drained of our creative juice due to other things in life. Or like anything we don't like being forced to do things that are not enjoyable, so if you feel stressed writing it's time to step away for a lil while. Come back when it feels fun again. :)
