Yay. Holidays are almost over. (UGH)
Yeah, I cannot contain my excitement about going back to school. Yay. Wee. Woo.
And actually starting to study. Yay. Wee. Woo.
AND I wont even have enough time for that thanks to my fucking giant painting. Yay. Fucking WEE. Fucking WOO.
Urgh.
On a less dramatic note, I went to the city yesterday with my girlfriend, my mum and a friend from Germany who's staying with us. It was nice, mum have me and my girlfriend time to spend by ourselves most of the time. I love the fact that my mum understands just how little time me and my girlfriend really do spend together thanks to her overly-desperate-for-family-time-even-though-no-one-else-supports-it-at-all mother.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate her or anything. She does have her streaks of pure awesomeness. A lot. But the one thing I hate about her is that she's crazy about spending family time. Literally crazy. It's kind of weird. Me and my girlfriend can't meet more than once in a fortnight for example. We see each other during school but that's completely different. We only get a day to ourselves once a damn fortnight.

But anyway, I dragged her to Kinokunia, which is an awesomely awesome book shop which basically has EVERYTHING. Literally. I wanted to get House of leaves, which is like 30 bucks but I had 35 bucks and was willing to spend 30 bucks on that book no matter what, but it wasn't there. -mope-
So instead I picked up Will Grayson, Will Grayson, which was also an autographed copy for like 20 bucks. How lucky is that? My girlfriend even proof checked to see it was real. It was very, very real.
I also got Grotesque by Natsuo Kirino, which I wanted for a long time. And it was just ten bucks. Fifteen everywhere else, even on ebay damn it. How could I say no?
But the only thing I found disappointing about this book is that apparently in the english translation they changed the ending. Yay. (WTF) Don't you just hate that? I wonder if the author approved it... Maybe it was one of those 'if you don't let us change it we can't translate it and publish it damn it' things. Still, that sucks. LEAVE GROTESUE ALOOOOOOOONE.
I actually already started Will Grayson, Will Grayson. It's interesting so far. I love it when first person narrators sound like actual people talking to you.
That's it for today, I need to start painting soon. Hopefully my girlfriend will come online so I can see her before I leave. . .
