fucking yes! i got my MUN place! rahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *dances*
so yeh, o'hagan (cos the man is a fucking god) has put me on the senior delegate because he was 'impressed by how much more prepared and confident i was at the school MUN'. fuck yeh :D
on the downside, he deeply disapproves of my choice of committee. i chose UNCHR2 because it's got gay rights and abortion (two things that i know i'll be able to do in depth). when i asked for it, he looked at me and said 'are you sure?'. he's worried that it's gonna get personal. he told me as much at the school MUN. said 'i'm worried about you doing gay rights at bath, it might get heated and turn into a slanging match'.
i'm above that shit anyway. throw as much abuse at me as you want, cos i've got my fucking place at bath! and i will fucking work for best delegate, or at least best delegate on my committee. i'm doing this hardcore.
random thought: dunno why i'm so eager to please o'hagan. somehow, his praise means more to me than praise from any other teacher, and he doesn't even teach me. bizarre..
