(no subject)

well today was absolutely fucking excellent, quite frankly. firstly, i gave the best speech ever in the MUN, likening homosexuality to 'a pervasive rot which gradually fells a great tree'*. then my basically ridiculous resolution was PASSED! on a majority of 8 to 7. then o'hagan came up to me and praised me in person for how well i spoke in general assembly today, which made me stupid and bouncy :D (he also commended me in the middle of the assembly for 'admirable depth of knowledge of my subject'. well, it is the rights of same sex couples. i'm sort of bound to know.) i looked over his shoulder and saw i'm on the 'probables' list for the bath MUN, and i'm hoping that he'll move to definites, cos i want to go so badly.

went at lunchtime to get my essay back of schaumann, and it turns out i got 81%. which is pretty fucking incredible for a first draft, i think. so i've only got a couple of things to correct, and i'm sorted. he even had to look up some of the words i used, cos he didn't know it.

um.. afternoon.. oh yeh, watched hideaway, this production that we're meant to see for our theatre studies course. it was actually amazing, but it annoyed me that i had to miss the emergency debate at MUN for it. still really rather good though.

a slight dampener was placed on my mood by my grandfather losing his temper with me over fuck all. i mean christ, it was his shoes i tripped over, and i through them on the floor in a jokey way. honestly, i've never know a man with more of a propensity toward overreaction than him. idiot.

despite this i'm still bare smiley :D

*DISCLAIMER: in case someone i don't know is reading this. the views in my speech are the views of zimbabwe, rather than my actual views. cos that would be silly :)
