Supernatural By Gaslight, aka The Deane!Verse

Twenty-two years ago, Mary Winchester - the beloved Wife of John Winchester and adored Mother of Samuel and Deane Winchester - was cruelly lost within a fire that claimed the Winchester family's home. Since that day, a bereaved John Winchester has traveled throughout Europe, tracking the foul creature that perpetrated such a cruel trick upon his family; raising his sons to follow in his footsteps. Armed with Samuel's inventions and Deane's uncanny ability to bring down any prey, the brothers Winchester travel through Great Britain and Europe, following clues they receive in the form of mysterious letters - and Samuel's disturbing visions.
Take one part obsession with Victoriana, one part fascination for pulp science fiction, a love of Supernatural, and a picture of Jensen Ackles in suspenders. Mix liberally with a penchant for melodramatic fiction and a dash of Gilbert and Sullivan. Sprinkled with the promise that there will be corset rippage.

- A Christmas Carol - Robert Cratchit has stumbled upon the nefarious dealings of his employer, Ebeneezer Scrooge, and finds himself in the midst of a problem that only the Winchesters can solve. It is up to Deane to put the pieces of the puzzle together in a manner that befits everyone, but what happens when he is forced to relive his own memories of the worst holiday known to Man? Deane, Samuel, Johnathon, Penelope, Mary, Cratchit, Scrooge, Ghosts of Various Time Periods. Deane POV. Gen. PG-13.
- By Gaslight - Deane and Samuel Winchester return to Westshire, their family's baronial province, upon receiving a mysterious letter regarding the werewolf terrorizing the countryside. They discover that the dangers to their old home are far greater than it would appear, and receive assistance from two wholly unexpected sources. Still a work in progress. Deane/Penelope, Samuel/Vertiline. Deane POV, Samuel POV, Penelope POV, Vertiline POV. Het. NC-17.
- Ill Met by Moonlight - During which Deane divulges plans for another Grand Experiment and Penelope is tempted to discipline him with something more stringent than her umbrella. Deane/Penelope. Deane POV. Het. NC-17.
This entire series owes its life to wenchpixie, who encouraged me to write it the first moment Deane Winchester, in all his pea coat and suspender-wearing glory, popped fully-formed into my head. Without her, there wouldn't be a DeaneVerse. Or the very pretty DeaneVerse banner!
