it was a good day
i am officially the worst house-sitter/pet-sitter in the world! i'm supposed to be taking care of my aunt and uncle's house while they are up north this weekend. they have a new kitty that needs to stay the nite locked in the bathroom so she doesn't crap all over the house, and an old dog that needs to be fed at nite and given medicine in the mornings. simple enough right? welllllll somehow i managed to let the cat loose in the house, leave the dog outside, and then accidentally lock myself out of the house. and lock my cellphone and carkeys inside. so the kitty's gonna wander around the house all nite tonite, probably crap everywhere since she's not litterbox-trained yet, the dog's gonna freeze outside and not get her medicine in the morning, AND the house is a mess b/c i didnt clean up after myself before i got locked out. i had friendies over the nite before and we drank some of their beers (which i planned on replacing) but now the empty bottles are just gonna sit there on the counter til my aunt and uncle get home. and my underwear is strewn about their bathroom since i used their hot-tub. MAN I SUCK AT THAT JOB. they would have been better off just locking up and leaving the animals alone for the weekend. i hope they dont kill me too much.
anyway, after having one of their neighbors drive me home (since my car keys were locked inside) i went out to churchy's in flinters, saw some good bands, saw a whooooooole lotta imlay folk, and lost my socks. yeah. that's how you know you had a good nite.
