Today is a blah day.
Blah, grey, rainy, cold, sad, confusing, nerve-wracking, annoying...
How can the weather do so much??
But that wasn't my point.
The point of this entry was to congratulate everyone for being active participants in our world/nation/livejournal community. I've just realized that everyone at this school is aware of the elections. We have intelligent conversations about politics, some get emotional over events that will affect our lives in the future. Yeah, that makes sense, right? But think about it. There was a time where we didn't even care. We might have known what was going on, that our moms and dads were going someplace to stand in a booth and push buttons, but we really had no clue of its consequences. And now we do, and we want to do something about it, whether it's for Bush or Kerry. Or Nader.
We're growing up.
