Kill Summer Reading!
I'm only on my second book out of 4. Oops!
And I never wrote the paper for English.
Double Ooops!!
BUTI had one of the BEST summers of my life.
And I don't regret THAT one single bit!
You may think that was irresponsible. Oh well. I'm happy.
I mean, I just don't understand people who would rather waste their summer on assignments for school. Grades are not worth draining your summer away for. You may say... Well good Grades lead to a good college, then to a good job, then to good money, then to comfortable living, then to happiness. But either way... we all end up the same. We all end up OLD, and probably lonely or bored. When that happens... Your books and grades aren't going to keep you company. Your friends and memories you made in the past are what is going to keep you company.
SO- As the school year approaches, I leave you with one thing.
Please Please Please, (Especially those in I.B.) Don't take school so seriously. You are a kid and your time isn't supposed to be spent worrying over grades and assignments. Your time is supposed to be spent making memories. Have FUN this year and don't stress. Even if you DO make an F on that test... It is not the end of the world.
But when it is all said and done ... Would you rather have spent your best years in Highschool making good grades, or making memories???
