Today I took a trip out to the Irvine Spectrum Center ( link ) to go job-applicatoring. And I did :] I turned in three applications, and took three more home. And here's where I'm dying to be hired...

Anyway. So I was shopping in the rain in Orange County today, checking out the million things I can't buy and trying to find a way to be able to. The weather (though gray and wet and cold) was fantastic. I love rainy days, and this one was no exception. So, my feet were cold, and I walked so much that my legs are sore, and I looked like a mess from wearing my hood. I had a blast.
Heather went with me. We've decided to start our own Bible study, with just us. She's not really that into it, but she said she'd do it if I wanted to. It'll help us, and it'll help me not be so irritated with her all the time.
I'm not going to New York this spring after all; I decided it was too much, too soon, and I can't afford to pay $1,700 for four days and once concert. So I may never get another chance to sing in Carnegie Hall, but I won't have to face the 'Big Apple' alone. I'm kind of a wimp like that, but that's okay. There will be other tours, and I will be better prepared and more financially and emotionally capable. In the meantime, I can be relieved that I don't have to worry about it so much, and I won't be so broke so immediately.
On another note, I think I may set this journal entry (and several to follow) to public, rather than 'friends only'. I want to be read, but no one will add me, or ask me to add them if they can't see my writing. So... here goes; I hope you enjoy.
