1. bauhaus:
   This one has a double meaning. First, there’s the German art and architecture school from back in the 1920’s. The school stressed highly functional and simple designs. The second meaning, refers to the British band and their dark, gothic song “Bela Lugosi’s Dead.”
2. college football:
   The only sport I care about. I’m way into it and also follow several college football blogs and am a regular contributor to one. I’m a big Michigan fan. Go Blue!
3. dominance:
   Yeah, I have a sexually dominant streak. I enjoy the feeling of being a little rough and forceful, as long as my partner enjoys being on the receiving end of it. I love being able to just let go, be swept away by lust and pleasure, and fuck as hard as my instinct compels me to. I'm still a switch, though.
4. freedom:
   How can anyone NOT be interested in or love freedom? Definitely worth fighting for. I hate seeing it being just given away.
5. kissing:
   Very underrated. Generally considered a inferior to sex, but kissing, tonguing, tasting, and exploring another’s mouth are some of life’s great physical pleasures.
6. nick drake:
   British folk singer/songwriter/musician. Nick Drake was painfully shy, full of self doubt and suffered from severe depression. His career was short-he only recorded three albums-and not commercially successful, but every aspect of his music-the quality of his lyrics, his gentle, wistful vocals, and the delicate virtuosity of his guitar playing-is exceptional. His final-and best-album, “Pink Moon” is only 28 minutes long and contains only Nick Drake’s vocals, guitar playing, and an overdubbed piano on the title track (you probably heard it in that Volkswagen commercial). When he completed it, he simply left the master tapes at the front desk of Island Records. He died from an overdose of the antidepressant Tryptizol a few years later.
7. polyamory:
   The concept of having loving, sexual relationships with more than one person at a the same time. Sounds like a nice-and fun-theory, but in practice it’s not as simple as it sounds. I still believe it’s OK to love as many people as possible, though.
8. sex pistols:
   What can I say, I love punk rock. The Ramones and the Clash were much better, but “Anarchy in the UK” still kicks ass.
9. the lost generation:
   Cynical, disillusioned, romantic, expatriate post-war writers, jazz, and drinking, what could be better.
10. writing:
    I like to write. I don’t have anywhere near enough to do it, though. I’m sure this journal is a disappointment considering the lack of posts here.
