So I got new contacts on Saturday. Eventful. I forgot how annoying the little buggers can be.

Went to see "The Other Boleyn Girl" yesterday with Jen and Christina. Might I say, Eric Bana is hot. Might I also say that Jim Sturgess' character, Georgie, did not deserve to die. Apparently though, the book version justifies his death. Sigh. Can't win. Might I finally add: William Stafford = Eddie Redmayne = Like Minds = Tom Sturridge. Equals happy Linda. Eating smuggled ice cream was also happy.

Well, here we are at the last week of freedom before school really shows its nasty claws and fangs. We're doing the damn fundraiser again that I am certain is rigged. The money is going to, drumroll please, new carpets in the classrooms and offices. Or something of that nature. All I know is, it is certainly not doing any student in that school a scrap of good. Not like it ever was anyway. Which brings me to last year's "gift" - the bus thing. Did you know that you have to pay $40 a month to ride the 14 seater bus that doesn't even guarantee your seat. And did you also know that Mr. Reuter, a MATH TEACHER and incompetent lecher, drives said "bus". Actually, any of the teachers could potentially drive the bus, because you don't need a commercial license to drive it. That's right. Miss Tillson drove it once.

Whatever. I have two months left. And I actually have college prospects! Got into Hofstra yay. (did I already say that??)

So. Nonno's still in the hospital. It's relaly becoming more a stressor than I need right now. Mom, being the honest no-shit-person that she is said yesterday : "Let's not fool ourselves, hun. In the long-term, he probably won't leave the hospital. I'm just telling the truth you know."

Great. That's a spectacular thing to tell your child right before she goes out with her friends. It really looms in my thoughts. That I might wake up one morning and he'll be dead. Special. But, I'd better get going. The dog's stomach waits for no one. Right now she's chewing on her left foot. Hurry!
