Day 2: Favorite Male Character

This one is a tie Between

Jonathan Crane also know as The Scarecrow. Who didn't see this one coming from a mile away? But Crane is probably one of the only villains who's M.O. is straight to the point. His super villain name is: The Scarecrow. His costume? A Scarecrow. His Schick? Scaring people. Simple enough, right?

His character has been through so many changes it's really hard to say which one I like the most- I had a hard time liking Tim Sale's crow at first. He certainly had a different design than I was used to, but the dark colours and misshaped triangles for eyes certainly rubbed off on me, and besides TLH was pretty awesome.

No man's land was a pretty good example of just how he'd fair only using psychological tactics, rather than his toxin. He managed to turn a church into people bent on revenge with words alone. Of course, as brilliant as that was, his plans never really come full circle. Not as long as a member of the batfam is lurking.

Above all else I can relate to him in a way. Not his psychotic ' I want everyone to experience their fear way', but his Year One past. Everything except his crazy great grandmother.

Edward Nygma also known as The Riddler. As someone who loved Frank Gorshin's Riddler, I don't know how I could NOT mention him as one of my favorites. I love intelligent villains, they're much more complex than your usual brute force villains. And as someone who was able to deduce Batman's true identity by logic ALONE, also being able to back-stab nearly half of batman's rogue gallery I'd have to say he certainly is one of the smarter bat villains.

That and I LOVE RIDDLES. You have no idea how much of a geek I am for riddles, ciphers and everything this guy works with.

How could you not love a guy who starts out in crime like this?

I would also like to mention Dick grayson, Harvey Dent, Wally West, Jericho, and Hush for they are pretty Bad ass too.

Satoshi Kon was found dead today, and I am extremely sad about this. Considering he was one of my favorite directors. I'll have to rewatch all his movies sometime as a remembrance for him. It's really surprising... To me anyway, I'm one of those people that figured great people just live forever.

baaww, 30 day meme, satoshi kon
