Things with the new internet connection have hit a slight snag. That being the fact that the wireless broadband makes both me and mum feel like our heads are about to explode, so I’m having to write this on word with the intention of trying to steal a few minutes of internet time later on.
I told mum that getting wireless broadband was not a good idea, but no! I was being ridiculous and this home hub thing from BT was exactly what we needed. Yeah well…turns out I was right. Me being me and mum being mum, both of us seem to have problems with mobile phones and things like that. Mum more so than me, but it only takes me a few minutes on a mobile before the side of my head next to it goes numb. Bizarreness!
Anyway last night after only a few minutes of the broadband being on mum got a whole load of pressure build up in her head and felt really ill, so we switched it off and she started to feel better again. I thought that perhaps it was just her as it wasn’t affecting me in a similar way, but this morning when we turned it on I have never felt so weird! First my lips started tingling, then my throat got all tight and it felt hard to breathe and then I got all the pressure build up on the top of my head, felt so sick I nearly threw up and felt a desperate need to get off the internet and get as far away from it as possible. It only took a few minutes after it was switched off for all this to go away so I’m pretty sure it’s that.
Needless to say I’m loathe to try and use it again. I might try and get a few minutes this evening to post this then wait until we get a cable.
