Not had a very productive last few weeks. The mole removal incident really took it out of me and I havent been very good healthwise for the last month or so

I was just about to drop you a comment, as I haddn't heard from you in a while, I hope everything's been ok. Have you been up to anything interesting?
Yeah, i've been meaning to update my journal. Nothing major going on - just some halloween related stuff that i'll probably post about soon. =)
I think it would have been too if I'd manged to have the bloody thing removed, lol. But just as the surgeon was about to inject me with the local anesthetic my stupid needle phobia kicked in and had evil panick attack and wouldn't let surgeon/nurses anywhere near me. Oh well! Looks like the mole will stick around until they invent needless jabs. I am such a woss when it comes to needles.
Ack, I can't say I blame you. LOL. I remember having breakdowns (hyperventilating, crying, shaking, etc) before blood tests and such when I was younger. I got better after I got sick since I needed so many bloodtests at first that I managed to just get over my fear, but before that I was pretty bad.
I think knowning my mum and dad we'll be getting another dog soon, which would be so cool.
Awesome! Do your parents have any ideas or thoughts about what breed they'll go with? Since Storm passed in May we've been casually looking for a playmate for Bambina, but have been having a hard time finding the 'right' dog. All of us have so many favorite breeds that it's hard to settle on one. LOL. Normally we'd just go straight for the shelter to see what dog just felt right (we're big into adopting), but i'd really like another registered dog since my only purebred pup (Bogart) is getting older and is officially 'retired'.

I'd love another Greyhound or a lurcher as they're such placid/friendly dogs, but I don't think we'd be able to fit two of them in the house, lol. Mum and dad I think are after a nice medium sized cross breed. They're going to a local rescue centre to look at a 10 month old staffordshire bull terrier x (looks like it's crossed with a whippet) which has just come on the website adoption pages and looks/sounds perfect.

Cool :0D ! Did you do a lot of showing with Bogart? When we had Libby our poodle we did a bit of local showing, but we never got anywhere with her because we wouldn't give her that awful pom pom cut that the kennel club seems to think poodles should have.

LOL! A staffy mix would be awesome. Keep me posted on the doggy situation! =D
I didn't do a whole lot of showing with Bogart myself. His previous owner, though, started showing him the second he was old enough and he did very well (reached his championship by the time he was about two). When I got him we were thinking i'd start junior handling with him, but since I still had school/dancing/swimming/horseback riding (I was still healthy, but I'm sure you figured that out - LOL) I couldn't really find the time for handling classes on top of it. I'm getting to the point where i'd like to try to get into it again, but Bogart's nine...he's earned his retirement. lol.
