New York

Hellooo peoples.  I am in New York right now, with 7 minutes left on a timed internet thingy.  It's been an interesting 3 weeks.  Not quite the time of my life I was expecting, but I got what I wanted out of it, which was to get back into the world of a normal person and do exactly as everyone else on the tour group did, which I've managed incredibly well.

Woke up at Cherry hill camp groung in Maryland at 4:45am this morning, after about 2 hours sleep in freezing temperatures.  It has rained all day, the shitty tents we had weren't waterproof and I've spent a large proportion of today intermittedly drying out ALL my soaking wet clothes with the heater in my hotel room and my hair dryer!  It's been fun!  Went into New York city and walked around for about 4 hours and found Macy's department store (EXPENSIVE!!! Even when the dollar is half the price of the pound!).  New York is a bamboozaling place...people, cars and buildings EVERYWHERE, not somewhere I think I liked too much, plus it was raining and I got soaked all over again after just drying myself out.

Am looking forward to a good nights sleep in a proper bed tonight!  can't wait to get back home and type up my adventures for the last 3 weeks I have done many, many wonderful things, had some good experiences and some not so good ones, but more on that later!

To bed and then an all american breakfast in the morning (Pancakes!! yum!!).  I fly at 9pm tomorrow evening!  HOOOOMMMMEE!!!  YAY!!!
