“Harry! What were you thinking? Giving me those in front of my mum?”
“Well I’m sorry ‘mione, I didn’t know you were going to open my gift in front of her.” Harry said, the box held loosely in his hands. “Besides, it’s nothing she’s never seen before.”
“But really, she’s my mum.”
“And you’re my fiancè.”
“My father was there too, Harry. You’re just lucky he wasn’t in the room or you wouldn’t be standing in one piece in front of me.” She said, placing her hands on her hips, glaring at her soon-to-be husband.
Harry knew she wasn’t joking, her father was pretty protective of her, and he was a well built guy, he wouldn’t want to piss him off in anyway. “I’m sorry ‘mione, next time I buy you anything revealing I’ll remember to leave it at home for just you and I.” He said, placing the box on their kitchen table and picking up the pink pair of knickers, dangling them from the tip of his fingers, one thing on his mind.
Hermione looked down at the flimsy material in his hand and up to his face, she didn’t like that look he was giving her. Harry just nodded his head, “Now…you try them on.” He said, and he wouldn’t be taking no for an answer.

Hermione was beginning to regret that she had agreed to share this apartment with Ron and Harry. It was their first summer here, and it just had to be a hot one. The air wasn’t working properly so they had to have each of the windows open. She couldn’t stand living like this, the only things that helped her cool off were constantly drinking something cold or taking a cold shower and then air drying off.
She tried not concentrating on the heat but it was so unbearable, she couldn’t even get any reading done, and that was definitely saying somethin. Her head snapped up when she heard a door closed, she felt a slight blush creep up to her cheeks, seeing Ron step out of the shower in nothing but a white towel that was wrapped loosely around his waist. She quickly turned her gaze away, but she wanted to look again.
His dark red hair was quite unruly, looking as though he tried shaking all the water off, and little droplets fell down his chest. She yearned to be one of them as they slowly made their way down his chest, before dissappearing into that damned towel. Ron arched an eyebrow at Hermione before walking into his room to get dressed.
Hermione tried shaking the thoughts from her head but to no avail, and to make matters worse Harry choose this precise moment to enter the house from a morning jog, taking off his sweaty grey tee-shirt and tossing it to the ground. “I’ll pick up later, Hermione.” He said, knowing she would nag about it.
However, she stayed silent, her eyes now raking over his chest. It wasn’t as if she hadn’t seen it like this before. But…perhaps the weather was having some sort of affect on her? She definitely felt like she was in heat. Wanting to pounce on her roommates at any given moment. “Hermione, are you alright?” Ron asked, when he came back out of the room, dressed only in a pair of jean pants and no shirt.
Hermione groaned out loud, no she wasn’t alright! She’d known since early on that her best mates were attractive but they didn’t have to rub it in her face. To girls who didn’t know her, they were probably envious of her, for the fact that she lived with two handsome men such as themselves. But no, she was living in her own personal hell. So close, and wanting to touch, wanting to feel, wanting to love but she couldn’t. They were friends and there were boundaries.
“’Mione?” Harry’s voice brought her out of her thoughts, again. “You alright?”
“I-I’m fine,” she said, a false smile on her lips as she reopened her book, using a hand to fan herself. “It’s just hot, that’s all.”
