update: college life and so on
First month has gone well. A few mehs here and there, but overall comparatively better than last quarter on campus in terms of living situation. The kids on my floor couldn't compare to the epic awesome of Fish A2 last year, but that would be near-impossible to accomplish again.
Roommate: She's wonderful, even if she's rarely here. Seriously, I only see her when she's getting ready to go somewhere or sleeping.
Classes: Pretty good, other than Networking class. Lab partner is a pain, and I'm behind on two labs thanks to her blowing me off repeatedly. Hopefully prof. will let me change partners. Should feel bad, but I'm on academic probation (a D in a liberal arts class = srs bznz @ RIT) and cannot let this slide. Gotta work my butt off outside of class this week to catch up.
Social crap: Getting better thanks to Kevin and Humans vs Zombies game. Hair has been helping, too. I've decided to throw caution to the wind and try to see friends from last year. So far it seems like my mild paranoia has been just paranoia. Let's hope it continues to be proven wrong, those folks are cool as cucumbers. /dork
Eta 4am: ran into floormate from last year & found out there are audio engineering classes being offered! They work with Pro Tools! :D *unreasonably giddy*
