i'm not sure if it's correct... had no idea what half the answers were orz
i received good news!! i'm possibly being "promoted" (with "s because it's not really a promotion imo) to a teaching assistant! with a very good pay increase (more like pushing it back up to normal levels) and teacher leave!! \(^^)/ aka SUMMER/XMAS/EASTER OFF!!!!
i'm really unsure about if i should take it though. it's rare for such a chance to come up, and i know the staff so it'll be nice to stay for another year (or two) and at least put a bit more money into my savings. it'll also be really good if i do continue to be a teacher because i'll have tons of work experience needed to get the certificate and i'll most likely be employed back.
but at the same time i still really want to like.. explore the world? i really do want to try being a flight attendant, go visit the world as a part of my job etc etc. but as it's the sort of job you do when you're young, i'm scared i'll be too "old" if i try 2 years down the line (i'll be like 24?) and the opportunity might have gone... okay 24 doesn't sound that old but we're talking about flight attendants here :x
i guess saying that being 24/25 isn't that old and i'm sure if i have some qualifications under my belt they might take me (although they would know i wouldn't stay, which would kill my chances)... omg this is just so hard :(
it also doesn't help that i still don't know which subject i want to teach... i can handle physics to GCSE level, the main problem is chemistry or biology... i'm tutoring a year 12 kid now and explaining chemistry seems easier but biology is much more... easy to understand? oh i dunno, either one of them :(
in all seriousness, i will most likely take it now. i was going to be a flight attendant for 3 years then go back to teaching, but i think it'll be easier if i did actually do the teaching assistant part BEFORE flight attendant, just because it'll be hard to pick up kid handling again... OH I DUNNO
also forever judging myself for actually reading through this twilight post. BUT THE EYES ARE SO PRETTYYYYY
i've been shopping so much too!! it's mainly food nowadays because i can't bring myself to buy any more clothes orz but still there's enough for 2 meals in the fridge and i haven't cooked anything!! (note: this is 2 separate/extra meals that only i eat. my helper already cooks meals every day)
