(no subject)
so after around 2 weeks (well more like 1 week of 'proper' CV sending) of job hunting, i have a job offer! :D *throws confetti*
although i'm not too sure if i want the job...
it's basically a lab technican job at an international school (american international), and while i BS-ed my way into saying i wanted to be a lab tech to get the background knowledge/experience in being a science teacher, that is BS and i honestly don't know if i can or want to be a teacher ^_^;; i like teaching people, but it seems more like a small number thing and not a whole class ^^;;
and i also just think it might be bad to jump onto the first job offer i get? the deadline is tomorrow at 5pm, but at the back of my head i still kinda want to be a flight attendant (love travelling too much XD) and there's a job expo for airport related jobs tomorrow... it's not sure i'll get a job offer on the spot for that (since i only want cathay and cathay is huge) and if i miss the chance of the lab tech job i might never get another job offer? because tbh i think i did my best in the lab tech job interview
the salary for the lab tech job isn't high (it's around 75% of what i've been writing down when needed) and it's around kowloon tong so travel costs can add up. but the holidays are quite nice (my step-brother/sister in law are in schools as well, and they have 1~2 weeks of annual leave? i have 3 :x) and international schools are always better for me in the long run because i hate chinese-speaking environments...
and i just got an interview for some pharmaceutical company? which seems 'better' since it's related to my degree but if it means selling products i'm going to die and reject it on the spot XD;; *hates selling*
BUT YEAH. DO I TAKE IT OR NOT? REGARDLESS, POSSIBLY HAVING CRAB TODAY! \(^^)/
booking tickets to oxford as well! \(^^)/
having a busy time (?) until i go to UK! \(^^)/
so i guess if i take the job i'll be busy for the whole year! \(^^)/
and fuck yeah for international schools being more lax \(^^)/
i guess it's a good turn of events considering i've been really depressed lately..
