i really should stop following the BBC live news so much... the sensationalising of the whole nuclear power plant, the people in the north who are in desperate need for aid but not a lot of people are willing to go because of the radiation... i really wish i could go help, but i know the japanese government isn't really accepting that much aid and what can i do? i can't drive, i don't know (much) about nuclear plants, heck i don't even know much japanese to begin with.
and all this is completely distracting me from my literature project, which is much more important personally and academically.
the only good thing is that my mum isn't one of the salt buyers (who are stupid. doesn't seaweed have more iodine than salt anyway?), and her only concern was the nuclear station in shenzhen and not fukushima XD and a very interesting question. would radiation affect electronics/pacemakers in particular? i can't see why, but...
