pfft before i was stuck on what option courses to take.
i had in mind: linguistics, philosophy, computer science, mathematics, economics, japanese.
had decided i would go with the last three.
now i've looked through the courses available for all of those, i have 7 courses to decide on.

problem?
i only have enough space for two courses XDD
and supposably one has to be related to my degree XDDD

PHIL1014: Introduction to Logic 1
COMP1007: Principles of Programming
ECON1005: The World Economy
MATH1201: Algebra 1
PLIN1302: Introduction to language
PLIN7305: Sociolinguistics
BIOC2003: Further topics in Biochemistry

PHIL1004 may be throwable coz i wanna do scientific method and paradoxes in philosophy (yes picky i know :) ), but philosophy itself is always interesting :x

COMP1007... well i've always wanted to learn how to program. for a long long time.

ECON1005 is the only economics course i can take which i may enjoy.. wanted to do a general economics course but there isn't one for people not in the course and i don't wanna do just macro/micro-economics for a whole term x___x; and yes, this is here coz everyone i know wants me to do economics so it's easier to find a job.

i'm having second thoughts about MATH1201. it's the type of maths i wanna do (pretty and pure maths with no physics strings attached~~), but then it's a first year course and technically speaking i've already done a first year course in maths... although on slightly different things :x it just seems stupid if i do it again... i wanted to do something on game theory (discrete maths mainly) but then it's an economics course for third years OTZ

linguistics is easy. PLIN1302 is one of the first year courses, so stuff is easy and nice and simple. the problem is the only bit of linguistics i care about is historical linguistics... which is in PLIN7305 OTZ and it seems much harder.

and BIOC2003 is the only option course related to my degree that i like. i'm such a picky person with a too wide interest circle OTZ

japanese i can take out of uni, so no problem there :)

help?, economics, ucl, uni :s, maths, philosophy, japanese, linguistics
