you know i'm annoyed when i do the exact opposite of what i am told.
aka, today was fracture clinic day.

my doctor in HK said that after 2 weeks in the air cast, i could go on this stirrup thing, which is like a semi-air cast but much smaller and all.
wasn't too happy about the stirrup thing, but whatever. as long as i can walk up and down stairs without wanting to kill something.

today, the fracture clinic said something along the lines of:
"omg you used the wrong cast!!!!11 you should've used a longer one that completely limits your movement!!
your x-ray still has this small little insignificant line which isn't turning white coz the bones aren't calcifiying or whatever yet!!!
that means it's not healed fully yet despite you feeling no pain whatever around the bone area!!!
SO LET'S KEEP THAT AIR CAST ON FOR ANOTHER 2 WEEKS THEN CHANGE TO THIS REALLY RESTRICTING STIRRUP THING FOR A WEEK, THEN COME BACK FOR CHECKUP.
THEN, WE MIGHT JUST THINK ABOUT NOT WEARING THE STIRRUP. OR KEEP YOU IN IT FOR ANOTHER 3 WEEKS."

obviously i'm pissed.
i was expecting to be out of EVERYTHING by the end of april.
damn it, i need to go to my exams bastard.
i was going to ask for my special circumstances form back today if i got into the stirrup.
now i'm going to be in the stupid stirrup until may, which means i'm going to be in those special rooms for exams :(

he did say that i can wear the stirrup indoors and the air cast outdoors...
so i guess it's not too bad, since i'm going to be indoors for next week anyawy >:)
heck, i just tried walking with nothing on just then.
completely fine.
no pain, no nothing. just the feeling you get when you wear flats after high heels.
AHHHHHHH BASTARDS.

uni :(, calcium does not exist
