Increase humidity. Static effect is increased in environments of low humidity. Buildings using air-conditioning, high levels of heating, or those with a lot of insulation can have low humidity.
Install a humidifier in your building.
Install a radiator-hung water container to increase humidity.

i get static electricity in HK, all the time.
and HK is known to be f-ing humid.
i am really interested in getting a humidifier tho..
