my general studies teacher from SIS is going to like... die on the floor laughing or something if she knew this XD
for out pathetic life science section in the MAPS1001 (communication skills.. think GS/critical thinking for natural scientists and you'll get it), we have to write an essay for this thursday.
"What do you think is the most significant advance in the life sciences in the last decade?"
i was going through the nobel prize list to find something decent to write about (the guy did say as long as the prize was awarded in the last decade, it counts!!) because i don't want to do the genome project coz it's too ~*~mainstream~*~ and i found these 2 guys who's name sounded familiar.
and what they did to get the prize sounded familiar.
then of course i remember, I DID IT IN GENERAL STUDIES LAST YEAR.
IT'S THE TWO PEOPLE WHO DRANK THAT BEAKER OF BACTERIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so of course, thanks to me paying attention in general studies and my on-and-off memories, i have my biology essay done 8D
