HERE WE GO~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

i slept super late last night (5am, if you had looked at the time stamp of my manga list), so i woke up at 9:30am, the time i was supposed to meet cerulean88, chun yu and ivan XDD so i rushed out and managed to arrive around half an hour late. not bad, since cerulean88 was 45 minutes late :)
so when everyone got there, we went to queue up. if you're not chinese/from hong kong, i'm sorry to say but you haven't really been in a LONG queue before. i think the queue to ani-com was... around 2km long? definitely at least 1km. 1.5km might be a better approximation, but it was just LONG. SUPER DUPER LONG. the good thing about today was that there was a slight breeze, so it wasn't THAT bad queueing up. i remember last year or something? NO WIND. 30 degrees. BYE BYE SANITY :) we took... 45 minutes to an hour to get into the hall, which wasn't THAT bad, since we were thinking we'd get in by 1 XD (we got in by... 12?)
when we got in, we started our normal 'combing' of the whole hall XD the furthest right side of the hall was the china stalls, which means FAKES GALORE OTZ but then it seemed like EVERYONE was selling bankai swords. i swear it was crazy! D: even worse than last year! i have a feeling they'll be gone by tuesday :) there was also these REALLY cute gintama card things? but then i didn't get them coz they were like $90 for the set. shit no am i getting stupid cards for $90 when they're half-fake D: anyways, walked around there, nearly screamed at the long queue in 天下 coz it was crazy as usual. me and cerulean88 separated with ivan and chun yu after a bit, because we wanted to see different things :P
i'm not going through the whole hall coz i've forgot most of it already XD notable mentions:
-i wanted to get the whole set of wild life yeah. well, i was debating whether i should've. i decided to get it, since it finished (in japan) and it is a good series. here comes the problem. the people in the store were NOT thinking someone would buy the whole series. coz wild life isn't as popular as the other things they sell (d gray man, death note, eyeshield 21 etc), so they never had all of them out.
SO. this guy had to take TONS and TONS of piles of manga out, and get each book for me. i felt soooooooooo bad :( so me and cerulean88 tried to help one of the people there by helping them get whatever eyeshield 21 stuff other peeople wanted :P since we were taking up that section of the stall XDD
we/i also took up one cashier for quite some time, checking through each book XD it totalled up to $800!! like, just right $800! :O cool~
-i saw gintama :( i REALLY wanted to buy it, but then i remember flipping through a random chapter of gintama i had and HATED the art, so i stopped myself :3 it's good i did too, or else i'd have gotten bankrupt so much more earlier :P the guy i rent manga from also told me the manga was crap and the anime was much better XDD i guess i made the right choice this time :D
-I GOT KOBATO!! D: i didn't even know we had it in chinese.. just happen to see it in this stall D: so it's mine now~~ OHH and i got lancelot!! my first gundam-ish thing XD and uh.... i saw these gintama card thingys again in this other store on the other side of the hall? they weere a lot cheaper ($30/set) but then i think different designs... i'e already forgotten what the first ones i wanted were like XD
-there seemed to be 2 super merchandise stalls this year... J-market and hana toys. which is good, i guess. since that means not everyone is crazy over ONE stall XD but damn this year is like reborn crazy. i swear, kept on seeing people with these tridents? it was when i saw the hair/wig that i figured out it was reborn ~___~ and damn merchandise stalls are like FULL of reborn. this guy kept on yelling "reborn puzzle!" all the time, it turned out to be "reborn-zzle" XDD
-x zone was the death of me. when we first got there, we saw these f-ing pretty candles. SOME HAD STARS ON THEM. candles with stars are like... dream conbination for me XD then like... there were these super good tattoos? they wouldn't rub off or something, but then there was only letters and all... I WANT PATTERNS D: my tradition of getting a tattoo nearly every year is going to die because of them T___T while we were looking yeah, kageyama hironobu from JAM project was on stage. since the x zone is near to the stage, traffic STOPPED. we were stuck there, listening to him sing and sing and sing XDDD i haven't heard him before, but then HE'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. i like him :3 apparently they're (as in the group) is coming again? OHH AND I FOUND CODE GEASS DOUJINSHI. shit expensive... and i bought one book ~___~ thank god i only got one :P there were also these placemat things for cups? i wanted to get gintama and code geass, but then all the code geass ones were sold out.. hope they still have stock on the last day :(
-we missed mega store and 天下 DDDD: well i guess it's for the better good, since those two are the ones with the crazy queues :P hopes there's something worth my time in mega store... or else it'll be a waste of queueing time T__T
-random: my camera got infiltrated by gundam because of cerulean88 XDD
-we went to tong li last, and SHIT I WAS BROKE BY HERE. i had to borrow money off ivan to pay off my chuuka ichiban volumes :p actually, i didn't even have enough money to buy the stuff i was missing XDDD so yeah.. stopped buying after tong li and left. it's not like i had enough hands to continue buying anything :P i used up all my manpower (tweez + chun yu + ivan + chun yu's friend who we got lost with XD)
so after all that, we were tired, hungry, and dead from the weight of MY manga XD. we left the hall, and headed out to look at cosplay :D it's good how they kinda kicked all the cosplayers to the ground floor, so it's not THAT crowded.. but it was still crowded :P we took quite a lot of pictures. well, enough to kill the battery on my camera XD i think i saw a lot of reborn, but then there seemed to be more camera-people than actual cosplayers XDD the standard seem to have dropped this year :(
after quite a long time of cosplay picture taking and like.. pulling cerulean88's/ivan's bag to take pictures for me (hands were not empty + cerulean88 took my camera :P) we headed to pacific cafe to figure out the amount we owed someone else XD then the guys were nice and helped me carry my stuff to the bus stop, then i left for home and mum saying wtf to me :)
i'll upload pics later... not bothered + ivan owes me pics XD i can tell you what i got tho. in terms of manga.
