(no subject)
bleh. kidna forgot to post about exams. so here it goes.
GS1/2: the exams no one cares about. well i retook the first module, and seem to have done a slightly better job at it. it's been too long for me to remember (1 week is a long time ago for me XD), but i've never had high hopes for GS. i'm just not good at writing and vague marking XDD the second module should have been better, because that was the science module aka the one i should've aced XD but i doubt it :P
physics practical: busted this one big time :D i forgot what nodes and anti-nodes were, hence messed up a big bit of 1A/B (forgot which one). then i missed out a bit where they asked for the diameter of a wire and so had to make something up which was 0.08mm off from what it was. then the other bits were okay i guess.. one of the worst practical papers i've ever done OTZ
M2: this was on wednesday, and i've nearly completely forgotten about it XD it was easier than the jan paper imo but then i still messed up small bits and bobs... LIKE WRITING 27/70 INSTEAD OF 70/27 OTZ such a careless mistake :(((((((
D2: first things first, I FINISED THE PAPER 8DDDDD this is an achievement since the last 2 times i've done D1, i've never finished the paper (which rarely happens). i completely messed up a few questions, especially the first one. because HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO EXPLAIN WHAT A WALK AND A TOUR IS!?!?!?! well, i obviously didn't revise that :P and uh.. i started to get slightly confused about maximin and minimax, because my numbers didn't seem to be right but then i was going everything correctly.. i had to rush the last question where i needed to make a minimum spanning tree and didn't have time to do the whole algorithm crap so i just used induction/observation XDDDD hope it was right -____- the only good thing about D2 is that there is only 6 questions in the paper. S2/M2 usually have 7, maybe even 8 questions XDD
S2: well this paper seemed easier than the jan paper again, mainly because there was no stupid definition question XD but there was quite a lot of hypothesis tests... and CRITICAL REGION. wtfffff that was the only thing i didn't revise for and it came up XDD well, good thing is that i remembered bits and bobs of it from reading the book and somehow managed to get it right. although i was confused by the wording and might have messed it up XD S2 gained me my confidence back because i managed to finish the paper in around 30~40 minutes :DDDD finally back to the days when i would finish a maths paper in half of the alloted time ;)
obviously i took D2 and S2 today, since they are the longer ones :P
-1. I've been doing the same part-time job since i was 14.
true every summer until whenever i can't stand it, i've been helping out at kumon and teaching kids and all that. this has been the longest, with me helping out the whole school year. normally i stop by august or december.
-2. I have a brother and sister.
false i'm technically a single child, but have a brother and sister legally. if that makes sense.
-3. I never had a first day of secondary school because it was cancelled.
true there was a typhoon on the first day of school, so we had the day off~
-4. My GCSE maths exam was on my birthday.
false my maths exams were on the 12/13th, and my birthday was the day after.
-5. I wanted to take Textiles, Economics, ICT and Philosophy/RS for A-levels.
true not exactly that combination, but i thought of taking textiles since year 10 (didn't because of coursework), ict since year 7 (didn't because of coursework), economics since year 11 (didn't because i can't write to save my life and i wanted to be ~*special*~ with 3 sciences + maths), RS/philosophy since year 9 (didn't because we don't offer it XD)
-6. I studied French in school.
true completely forgot it tho.
-7. I live with my parents.
false i live with my mum :P
-8. My grandfather has 9 brothers.
true there's only one left tho :P
-9. I first read yaoi (as in, sex and all) when I was 13.
true i completely didn't understand the anatomy of it tho. it was until i got into yami no matsuei doujinshi that i actually understood what the heck was happening in the fanfics XDD
-10. I've known some of my friends for more than 10 years.
true since most people from my primary school went to the same secondary school, we've known each other for a very long time. 61% of my life :P
-11. I want to study computer science as a minor.
true i had a thought of doing it as a major, but then when i figured out no more chemistry then i said no XD
-12. I want to study maths as a minor too.
true well, i want to do maths. it's weird if i didn't have any maths to do after doing 18 years of it.
-13. My grandmother has 6 brothers and sisters.
false my grandma had 7/8 brothers and sisters :P i forgot XD
-14. I got nightmares from reading adventure stories when I was small.
true they were these adventure books where you would solve the question on the spread then move to the next spread. once after reading those books i had a nightmare XD and i've been scared of similar stuff ever since XD so i can't really watch movie/drama climaxes (i switch the channel once it gets to climax) and get scared of thrillers/horror movies XD
-15. I've gotten A in English every year when I took it.
false i got Bs in english for the first 3 years of school, then only started to get As in my GCSEs and year 10/11 :P
i don't think many people would've gotten it right XDDD
edit: i dont' keep up to date with these things these days, but apparently BAS11/12 information was also out.
