damn I love crisps too. I'm not a big fan of potatoes, but crisps do me in. I especially love the thick ones like kettle chips, I remember in London we had some like Burgundy and cheese flavored. MMMMmmmm good. Salt & Vinegar is a favorite too :D
Nasaan Ka Man is pretty heavy, and Tim's a friend of the director (who also wrote the original script -- his version was pretty morbid, the movie is really a lot lighter, STAR CINEMA style as Tim says) who does commercial work. I was impressed by the production design of that movie and yup, production designer also does commercial work. It's not your typically-costumed (bakya) movie eh? The scene I liked best (executed) was probably the most shocking one.
I will try and get you, if they ever compile the films, a copy of all this year's Cinemalaya (independent film) entries. Low-budget, but they had a couple of really nicely done ones.
Welcome back Kis! I know he got a lot of kises from you :P LOL
KETTLE CHIPS are just lovely with salsa dip or cream cheese mmmmmmm.
Yea the movie is quite heavy. I was quite shocked by how different it was, because I was expecting something like Kailangan Kita. But in a way it was a good shock. Wow it was a lighter version?!?! I have the un-cut version so Diether is proper getting INTO it lol. He's pretty scary in this. I have to say I was a bit :*( when Pilar was talking to Jovan and her aunts were like - who are you talking to?!?!
LOL you're crazy. You know after reading your entry Tim and I had to go do our grocery-shopping and I couldn't resist, had to get a bag of plain crisps. :P Hehehe.
You're serious?!? Tell me, come home and I will make Tim do your portfolio. :D

Ahhh yes. I was surprised. I'm not too sure it did as well as All My Life and Kailangan Kita and all the other happy-Star Cinema movies.
And yes Gem should start writing pronto!
