omg i almost forgot to tell everyone!
steve oraha has a job at forever 21. it was hilarious. i walked in and you know how it's like once in a while you'll see a girl there with her bf. well he stuck out like a sore thumb in that store. it was like "wtf is steve doing here?" so i shopped and made my way over to him and was like "hey steve!! what have you been up to?" we takled for a little bit and then i saw him moving clothes and i was like "so do you work here?" he's like "yeah i started a few days ago. but i'm just here until i get a job at guess. and then i think i'm gonna quit." so we talked for a little bit, and he helped me pick out clothes for my senior pics. what's even funnier, usually i try clothes on before i buy them there. well since steve picked everything out, it's like i knew they were going to match and there was no need to worry. so i paid and i went home and went to work. came home later that night, tried them all on and i loved it. my parents did too. for once i've bought clothes and they haven't had something negative to say about them.
pretty much all summer, any clothes i'd buy i'd show them and they'd have some kind of a problem with at least one thing i bought. like this skirt from hollister.. "it's a 6 inch skirt. our daughter is not a sleeze" and i had to explain to them how many other people had that skirt and it doesn't look half as short on them as it did on me. only b/c i have longer legs. i can't help it. oh and then i bought this other shirt from there another time and it's a shirt where i couldn't where a bra with it. and they made it like i was on 8 mile just cuz i liked the shirt. it was cute too. i took the tags off before they made me take it back.
the way i look at it is, that i buy my own clothes. and as long as it's my hard earned money going to what i decide to wear, it's my choice with what i buy. they haven't taken me shopping in a really long time for clothes. so until they do, i buy what i want. it's like telling me that when i'm out with my friends i can't eat at hooters. i'm 17, it's my money. if i wanna eat at hooters, i'm gonna eat at hooters.
my sibs are getting on my nerves. a lot
