Okay well to my weekly update! I know you are so excited.
School was school.
My english teacher accused me of plagiarizing.
And get this; she accused me of printing a poem offline. Nevermind paying for a research paper or something, It was a fucking p-o-e-m.
Now, I know accused is a strong word because really she asked me if I did .. but it was still fucked up nontheless. This is how our conversation went.
I got back my poem and she asks me to come out in the hall
Her: Did you write this poem?
Me: ... umm yeah?
Her: Are you sure?
Me: Positive ..
Her: You didn't print it offline?
Me: Are you accusing me of plagiarizing?
Her: This poem was far and above everyone elses. Where did you get the idea?
Me: From my head .. I'm done with this conversation now.
First of all, I wouldn't expect her to know this, but I used to be a poetry-writing freak. I wrote poetry all the time and if she wants to say anything against that let me bring in the books that my poems were published in.
And second of all, WHO THE HELL WOULD PRINT A POEM OFFLINE FOR A GRADE? Obviously someone would, but what the fuck? Thanks for basically telling me that I'm not a good enough writer to write that poem Ms. English Teacher.
Of course it didn't get to me. Ha.
But anyways yaa so my school week sucked.
Then Friday afterschool I went to Georgio's with Tina, Veronica, Kate, Jackie, Tim, and David. Yes we are cool kids.
Then Me and Tina went back to our house with Tim and David.
We were chilling and then I went to the mall with Kara.
Then me and Kara came back here and Tina had people over.
And I realized that I hadn't put Kara in my last two journal entries and we had a thing where she would be in every entry and if I didn't put her in one then she got one of her own entries. Since I didn't put her in two look out for two entries about Kara and her awesomeness!
She slept over and in the morning we went to Au Bon Pain or whatever .. and got breakfast. Then she left and I basically stayed home all Saturday from laziness and a mom that refuses to let me go anywhere.
And today is Mother's day so I have to stay home all day and be slaves to my mom and grandma. Boy is this exciting.
