Marlow only

We really haven't seen each other a lot this summer...I think we need to fix that. We're still best friends, right?

I haven't seen you at all this summer, actually.

But I'm not sure how visiting would work unless you come here. My parents, well, its a long story..

You came over here once, but that was it really. I miss you. :(

Oh, that's right! Wow, that seems ages ago.

I guess it's just been a really weird summer.

Weird is an understatement.

When do you want to see me?

I don't really mind when.
I'm not doing much today.

Let me ask my Mum if I can go out.

**Switch**

Parvati felt a twinge of guilt because she hasd't seen Marlow all that much, but Maeve needed her, and of course there was Charlie, who took up the majority of her time.

Her mother liked Marlow, so had given her permission to visit. So she stepped out of the fireplace a few minutes after talking to her mother.

Marlow was sitting in the kitchen. She wore short cuffed denim jeans and a billowy vintage blouse she had nicked from her mum. Her hair was pulled to the side of her neck and her flip-flops were nearly dangling from her toes.

Once she heard the fireplace roar, she jumped up to see Parvati.

"Hey!"

Around Parvati's neck was a pendant she had picked up recently - a pendant of Kali, the Hindu goddess. It was loaded with protection charms. A lot of people though Kali was a rather frightening goddess, but she wasn't all that bad really.

She stepped out and took the wand out from her purse. After saying the usual spell, the soot vanished and she stuck the wand back into her purse. "Hey, stranger," she teased, giving her gave her a small smile. She had really missed Marlow - and Harry as well, she she had barely seen either.

Marlow stood there in the living room, feeling happier than she had in a while. Having been stuck home really, well, sucked. She couldn't even take her usual morning runs without her mum having a slight melt-down.

She hugged her best friend tightly.

"I've missed you!"

"I think I've missed you more," she grinned at her as she hugged her back, laughing.

"Do we need to attach each other at the hip?"
