OOC: Description of Family Life
Mother:
Ranko seems nervous. On the surface she's well meaning, on the inside I think she has a hard time keeping it all together. She's not much of a thinker in the way that... she tends to go along with a bland general public perception of things and claim it as her own. She does care about her family, but she doesn't have much courage. She may rely on some kind of medication.
Edit- Right now Vicodin is the drug I'm most considering connecting Ranko too. The justification of which is that she took it after having either a knee surgery not too long ago. She should have been weened off of it by now but it's calming affect on her somewhat neurotic personality (and I think neurosis is a good term for it since Wiki described it as "poor ability to adapt to one's environment, an inability to change one's life patterns, and the inability to develop a richer, more complex, more satisfying personality."), the fact that it keeps her weight from getting too out of control (she hasn't moved around much after the surgery), and the over all feel good affect has kept her coming back. I might choose another kind of painkiller but right now this one is the one I'm considering. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Right now I can't get very far past strict business man that doesn't spend nearly enough time with the rest of his family. He's not a cold man, per se, but he's very traditional. He tends to open up a bit more when he's participating in a favoured hobby with someone, like kite-building.
