YESSS!!
I was FINALLY able to utilize the wi-fi capabilities of my Nintendo DS last night!! After a long almost-two-years of not knowing what the FUCK it was about or how to get it working or how to even use it, I FINALLY got it working!
I even signed up to a few Animal Crossing communities here on LiveJournal and made a couple of friends! I hope to make more...I haven't visited anyone's town yet, or had anyone visit me, mainly because I was out last night, but I hope to finally do this tonight or sometime this week. It would be so cool to visit another town, to get some new fruits growing in Elwood or even get my hair done in someone's Nookington's! Totally awesome.
But there is a downside! Now I have to be all self-conscious about my town. I know it looks like crap. I only started this game on Friday, and I've been so busy trying to pay off all my debt to Tom Nook, that I haven't really invested much in my town's look or feel. I'd love to get some flowers and trees growing around the town hall and museum, and to decorate around my house and my villagers' houses...but I always get distracted by something. >_<
But it WILL be done! I swear it...since I'm no longer Tom Nooks' pocket-bitch. I mean, sure. I have a 298,000b debt to pay off still. But I just fully realized that, I don't have to do that all at once. I can pay more attention to my town if I like, and I would most definitely like to. Well...I just wanted the world to know that...I'm now ready for more Animal Crossing friends! And feel free to make my neighbors move away. Most of them are really...grouchy! ^-~
