I've been hiding in the library again. They get new books pretty frequently, somehow, so I've been hiding from the curses finding new things to read about.
But these turkeys were too much! I mean, I'm familiar with the holiday, but turkeys as a curse? Especially the ones that talk! One of them tried telling me that obviously I was intelligent enough to agree not to eat turkeys this year because I was spending my time in the library! Please! Can't a guy get a little peace in the library?!
Luna and I ran back to the apartment, evicted the turkeys, and locked up. The turkeys scare Luna, and she's been hiding under a chair since we got home. In a little bit, I think I'll have to get a couple of kitty treats and convince her to come out. Maybe by then I'll think of something to do with the turkeys on my doorstep and through the building...
