Nate laid down on the bed in the room he was now being forced to share with Sully. When he decided to move out or run away, however you want to put it, two hours after realizing his son was gone, Mr. Sullivan decided to turn Nate's room into a office. The room he once had as his own now covered in papers, books and a stupid desk in the far corner. It took the man one hour to change everything around and make it as if Nate never belonged in that house.
Sully wandered into the room, giving his head a shake. "Loser. Actually thinking anyone would give a shit if you vanished." Sully muttered.
"Obviously someone did since he forced me back here." Nate shot back.
"He didn't get you back here because he gave a fuck, you're only back here because it'll make the big bad lawyer look good. Having one kid as a runaway doesn't exactly do his reputation any good. He'd much rather send you off to live with Ma again but since she doesn't want you anymore.." Sully said shooting him his smug grin.
Nate sat up in bed, glaring at him. "What the hell are you talking about? She sent me back here because she didn't want me to travel the rest of my life." Nate snarled.
"Whatever you have to believe." Sully muttered.
Nate stood up at the sound of movement in the hallway. What a prick. I'll prove him wrong. Nate thought as he walked out into the hallway just in time to catch his father at the top of the stairs.
"Why did mom send me back here?" He demanded as he stepped beside him.
"Nathan, we are not getting into this at the moment." His father said in his proper wording as always.
"Just tell me." Nate demanded as he grabbed his fathers arm.
"Don't touch me." His father said coldly, glaring at him. "Not now." He said to him.
"WHy? Is it because she wanted me to stay in one place or because you're such a prick you blackmailed her into sending me back here?" Nate asked accusingly.
"Where the hell do you get off thinking I would do that?!" His father asked, his voice raising, hand clenched to fist at his side.
"Am I right?!" Nate yelled.
"You have some fucking nerve, son! You think I even wanted you back here?! Me and your brother were pefectly happy without you! Your mother just got sick of having you around so she sent you here to me! I couldn't say no especially since she didn't tell me till you were on the god damn plane!" He screamed back at him.
"Your lieing!" Nate yelled as he shoved him into the wall.
Without giving it a second thought his father grabbed Nate by the arm, as he pulled him close to him and shoved him hard down the stairs.
Nate fell down the stairs, his head hitting every wooden step on the way down before he hit the bottom step, his head hitting the wall with such force that it caused a dent in the wall.
Sully ran from his room at the loud thud as he ran to the top of the stairs, looking down he spotted his brother laying motionless at the bottom step. He turned to his father in anger.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO!?!?" He screamed.
