Man, when you've been through enough things, this is a cakewalk for me. Not used to actually handling real weapons from scans, but I'll make due. I'm a pretty good shot with various items and such.

But yeah, I've read up on recent history, though I could use a fresher course. Got any information?

Lucky you. It still feels like a dream most of the time. Almost afraid to ask what's happened in your world now.

Probably not. I should get out more, honestly. I know about the Demon kings and that Doom is a bad guy and there was this guy Kurata who can turn people into Digimon/Human crossbreeds.

There's a lot going on in X Middle School. Smuggling, Racketeering, Illegal Frog Racing, the whole nine yards. X has a higher concentration of juvenile criminal activity that actually gets people arrested once in a while. Part of being on the Safety Patrol is actually working the cases. Kinda wish I had my CSI stuff with me, but all I have is my desk chair, an empty cup of cocoa and my partner.

I'm afraid I don't know much beyond them being the bad guys we're supposed to stop. I'm not really good at this 'hero' business, I think.

....illegal frog racing? And how do you smuggle in a school?

Don't worry about it too much. Being a hero only leads into trouble. Being effective is a whole other story.

Yeah man, there's a lot going down in X Middle School. You would not believe what has been stolen, smuggled, hijacked, all in the name of a cause.

And yeah, it's never a boring day at X.

Well, it would still be good to be more effective. And that would mean going home sooner, I think.

Depending on where you are here, it's never boring either.

Heh yeah. Sometimes I wonder if it would be nice to have a slow day. Then I realize, it wouldn't be home without it.

I guess I can understand that. Better to not have enthused guys bored.
