The bad news, no more Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Seriously, they just cancelled the show in the middle of season 3 because the new shows start on September 1. I am not impressed. Luckily, my friend already promised to give me her dvd-box of season 5 so crying has been postponed.
And well, I'm leaving for Italy in two days, so no more television for an entire week anyway. Me and Silke are going camping in Milan and trashing a hotel room in Bologna. We're kind of keeping it low budget, because I'm probably going to Poland in octobre to visit
battleofhydaspe as well. Before I'm off, there is still the concert of Conor Oberst to enjoy (his song Souled out!!! is soooo good) and an art exhibition in Brussels which shows art from musicians like Pete Doherty, Yoko Ono, Patti Smith, Brian Eno, Chicks on Speed, etc. I'm really curious to see if I'll like any of the art.
Yesterday, I donated blood (0+ people, if you wanna have any of it, let me know) because it's necessary to keep hospitals working and also because if, IF vampires do exist and are nice creatures with a soul and get their blood through organisations like the Red Cross, someone needs to provide dinner. I'm happy to help.
I also found a girl who's willing to go with me to Bullet For My Valentine! She's the girlfriend of a friend of my friend and we went pooling together and laughed at the two boys playing pool and she likes metalcore and we get along. It was a nice evening.
But even nicer was the hard core festival where I had to work behind the bar for two days. That was such a crazy experience. Awesome music (Parkway Drive, Sworn Enemy, A Wilhelm Scream), funny co-workers, lots of hot guys to serve, tattoos to admire. And I got a hug from the frontman of an American hardcore band. Without even asking for it. The band just stood behind the bar and he started talking to me and I just kept smiling youknow. Those were two amazing days. Especially because when I first entered the festival, I didn't know anybody and I was so overwhelmed by all those tough looking people and I was thinking 'fuuuuck, why am I doing this to myself'. :)
Okay, enough rambling, I got packing to do. Take care xxx
