Fuck guns
Around 6PM or so my nanny and I were texting back and forth discussing luggage options she was looking through with my kids at the mall.
At 6:15 she texted me “ So we’re at the mall in macys and they collected us up go back to a storage room because of an incident.”
Fucking incident being a shooting at the mall.
I drove my car like a mad woman, taking turns at red light, cutting the lines, and almost hitting few cars to Macy’s.
Found huge crowd of people outside by the door telling different things. Snuck inside while they were getting the doors locked up and was on my way to 3rd floor when I got a call from A. to let me know that they were escorted outside through back door and on their way to a car.
Security guy asked me “What are planning to do here?” I was like “Find my kids!!!” He said “The shooter is on a lose.”
I know, man, I know! But these are my kids. I’d rather get a bullet on my way to find them to try to keep them safe than just stand on sideline and wait. These are my kids, and I will die for them.
