Isn't it funny how really small little things can make you feel so happy, or cheer you up loads? Like today, when I was walking out of college to be picked up I was totally not concentrating and this guy called Marcus who I've chatted to a few times said "See you tomorrow Liz." And when I was walking down the corridor this guy Chris who I've only met once smiled at me. I know it sounds so odd that those things made me really happy, but I've been feeling kind of lonely the last couple of days and so it was really nice to know that somebody noticed me.
It's odd, I'm really enjoying college, but it's so hard when you have frees and you sit somewhere on your own and everyone else seems to be in massive groups. I don't know hopefully it'll get better as time goes on, but at the moment it's kind of intimidating. And it's not that I'm not meeting new people but it's mostly in class situations so you can't really talk to them properly, and the people I met in my form are mostly in different classes to me, and we have form time once a week so I don't really see them.
Yesterday had my marathon 3 and a half hour free and so I walked into Alton and I have determined from that that Alton is a dull place. The only decent things about it are that you can buy cheap lunch from Somerfields and pick n mix from Woolworths. Lucikly my friend Fee had a free as well, so I was with her most of the time, and we saw her friend Mike, who doesn't actually go to college but is doing re sits so turns up every now and then. I have to say I was actually quite glad to get to history.
Well, not much else to report hope you guys are all well,
xxx
By the way, Sarah, coolness about the Mark Knopfler thing!
