Guess what? I worked out that this one is actually translateable. ZOMG!!!! XD

If you use, can I see your results?
Crop and resize your base to 100 x 100 ((I chose to do this in PS CS2, as cropping and resizing in PSP9 goes all pixelated on mine for some reason. Stupid computer)). This is from a pic of Hayley Westenra from the inside cover of her album Pure.
Copy background, set to Burn 100% =
New layer, fill with #2222ea, set to Lighten 100% =
New layer, fill with #1c1f34, set to Luminance 100% =
New layer, fill with #e1c4b9, set to Multiply 100% =
((trust me, there's a slight difference at the end))
Copy background, set to Screen 100% =
Adjust > Colour Balance > Fade Correction > 45 =
Adjust > Colour Balance > Grey World Colour Balance > 6500 =
((PS users, I haven't worked out how you go about doing those steps yet, but I know these next bits you can do))
Now if you want the first result, go straight to the colouring. If you want the second result, however, select all, copy murged and paste as a new image; for the second result you're going to put the colouring on the second copy, not the altered original ((PS users, just go to the layers adjust > colour balance option, as you automatically get a new layer)). Now, go to Adjust > Colour Balance > Colour Balance and put in these settings:
Preserve Luminance: Checked
Shadows
Cyan: 0
Magenta: -23
Yellow: -44
Midtones
Cyan: 23
Magenta: -23
Yellow: 24
Highlights
Cyan: 0
Magenta: 0
Yellow: 30
And there you have option one. However if you've been working for option too, select, copy, paste as a new layer on top of your original. Leave it as normal and set the opacity to 64%. ((PS users, it's just setting the Colour Balance layer to 64% on your program)). Add brushes and text if you choose to ((I wrote "H" and "ayley" using Kunstler Script font, size 36, background colour only; the reason being is because then I could move the "ayley" bit into the picture lol))
et voila!

Your layers table should look something like this:
Hope you like!
* Close to that, really, for PS. To tell you the truth, I went up until the Grey World Colour Balance using PSP9, then selected all the murged layers and posted it as a new pic in PS CS 2, whereby I adjusted the colouring. So it's not going to look exactly like this from PS, but something like that. Probably.
