...Babies, babies, everywhere...
(O_o); It seems as if I just can't run away from pregnant women or babies. You can't even imagine the number of females at my work place who are currently pregnant right now. I know that there are around 8-10 women pregnant (it doesn't sound like much but it is considering that they will all be taking baby leave around the same time frame...) right now. (^_^) I'm happy for them but there is one co-worker who wasn't to happy when she first heard she was pregnant. Let's just say, she was sure she couldn't get prego because her tubes were tied... Well... they should have tied her husband's tubes as well. She was in shock of her unexpected pregnancy but is coming to terms with it. I know she'll be excited about her pregnancy soon.
Then there are the babies. My friend Karina had her baby back in March. Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ Harley Quinn is my future goddaughter! YAY!!! And just recently, my neighbor and friend, Amanda, just had her baby on August 9th. I'm happy for her and Seth (the baby's father). She said it was all thanks to me that she has her beautiful baby boy. (*^^*) Well, it's true. She wouldn't have Christopher (that's what she named her baby) if it wasn't for the fact that I set her and Seth up back in late August- early October. *tapping chin* ｢(ﾟﾍﾟ) I wonder if I can talk her into letting me be Christopher's godmother...? *shakes head* Anyways...
And just yesterday when Karina, Javi (Harley Quinn's papa), & HQ were here, Javi said, "Hey Gaby. I have a question for you?"
I look up at him and said, "yes?"
"What would you say if you found out you were pregnant right now?"

"Ummmm... Immaculate conception?..."
"What would be your reaction?"
*looks towards the heavens* "If I found out that I was pregnant...? My first reaction would be... "*looks unbelievably towards the heavens* "Seriously, God? Are you kidding me? Is this your way of having a laugh?... Then I would be thinking about the finances. Kids are expensive."
Javi said, "Wouldn't you be happy?"
"Wait up. I'm working up to that," I said.
Of course there was some hysterical laughter on all our parts, made a couple of remarks considering what my mother would say and me stating that that's something my mother could take up to God for some answers *lol* but the truth is, if I were to find out that I was pregnant (not that that would happen since I an not seeing anyone right now) I know that I would be happy for receiving just a blessing. What can I say? I'm a softy at heart when it comes to kids. I know that I'll be a mother some day whether I find that special someone or not. If I never have a chance to experience child birth, well, there are thousands of children who are wishing for a parent(s). But in the meantime, I love spending time with all my little cousins, and my future godkids.
