Sunday - December 11th --- 7:16 pm/At home
Maikeru slammed the door behind him not caring how childish it was. 'Jiro is going to fucking kill me, I am so dead'. Was all that he was thinking as he paced his room. He had lost control and his dad was pissed. He had actually grounded Maikeru from playing in the band and for who knows how long. It wasn't Maikeru's fault, he was doing what was right.
It happened earlier today when he was visiting his sister Machi and her husband Ranzan. Maikeru had never liked his brother in law based on the fact he was a major ass hole. His sister was only married to the man because of their father and he doubted she ever had feelings for the man. When Maikeru went to stay with his sister for the weekend he was under the impression that Ranzan would be out of town for a meeting.
Imagine his surprise when he walked in Saturday night and Ranzan was there smiling at him. Maikeru had managed to survive the night with the jerk and everything was going fine until Sunday after Church. When Machi made a quick run to the grocery store Ranzan decided to have a conversation with his brother and law, apparently Machi was refusing to have a child with him and he wanted to know if Maikeru knew who she was seeing.
Maikeru denied knowing anything but Ranzan kept pushing him for information and an argument broke out. It was then that Machi got back home and stepped in. She told Ranzan to leave Maikeru alone and things began to get ugly. Maikeru tried his hardest to stay out of it but when he saw his brother in law raise his hand against his sister he got angry.
He threw himself at Ranzan and a fight broke out. He ended up with a broken nose and busted lip, it was his sisters pleading that stopped him or else he would still be on that bastard. She was mad at Maikeru for interfering as she nursed her husband's black eye. Maikeru then just stayed locked in the guest room until his dad picked him up later that day.
After hearing about the attack his dad was quiet the whole way home, asides from the praying for God to correct his child under his breath every once in awhile. It was when he got home that his dad suspended Maikeru from his band. When Maikeru got mad and talked back about the situation then he locked up all of his skateboards, taking them away as well. All Maikeru could do now was think about how he was going to tell Jiro the bad news.
