Catch up
Wow it's been ages since I've been on here.
All the many hundreds of entries from all the communities I'm part of were putting me off coming to read journals. So I've left them ALL and removed them from my friends list. Now I just have all you lovely people's journals to read and catch up on. And I'll start posting more myself. I just won't know what's going on the Boosh world.
Hmm what have I been up to lately?
Uni: Been plodding on with the work. Managed to pass every unit so far. 3 left to mark. I even got a first for my essay. I was shocked. Coming to the end of term now. Last deadline is on May 15th. The day before my birthday... pretty good timing. Then after that I have a little exhibition with the 2nd years, off on a night out to London to see the 3rd years exhibition and then I'm off for the summer. This year has gone so fast. I'm sure summer will fly by even faster though. Always the way.
Work: Been at the library for a couple of months now. It's not bad. It would probably get really boring if I worked there more than once a week though. The only problem is getting up at 8am on a saturday. I'm still not used to it.
The illness: Haven't taken my tablets since before Christmas, have to go for a blood test and make an appointment with the diabetes nurse soon. Had an eye test, all is fine there except I'm a little short sighted. Don't need glasses but I could have them if I wanted. Don't want them, they're too expensive. Although I finally found a pair that I look good in.
Random: Went to see Panic! At The Disco last tuesday. Was supposed to be seeing Arctic Monkeys on thursday but I had to sell my tickets since noone could come. Sold for £127 though. *nod* Was supposed to be seeing the Subways on the 11th but Billy lost his voice and has nodules on his voice box or something so it got postponed. Think we're looking at the end of May for that now.
The toe that I whacked back two months ago is still bruised. But the nail didn't fall off. I think the fact that I squeezed loads of blood out of it so the pressure behind it went down might have helped. Dunno what's gonna happen to it now though. I don't know if it's dead or alive.
Summer plans: None really. Few gigs to go to, maybe a theme park trip, seeing family and a couple of mates back from uni. That's it. Gonna be a boring one. I might start up my t-shirt venture again. I have bought myself a screen for uni, so I suppose I can screen print t-shits instead of them taking forever with a brush. Anyone have any ideas? Let me know.
