SO this is gunna be a kinda emo post, so if you dont wanna hear it, close your ears and sing.
So i was thinking about why people kill themselves, and the thought came to me, we always say it's a selfish thing to do right? But, what if it's us being selfish not wanting them to leave? I mean think about it, if someone is so unhappy that they kill themselves, we say that they are selfish and we blame ourselves for not doing anything. But in general, isnt us mourning a death a selfish thing in the first place. For thousands of years, people have honored the dead and thought death as just another life. Well, I guess, im thinking, shouldnt we be happy that they got what they wanted? Should we not celebrate that they have gone to another place and we hope that they are happier there? I guess i was thinking, that if people are so miserable that they can't take this life, then why dont they have a right to go on. Are we not the selfish ones getting mad at them for not being able to take life? I'm sorry, i know its different when it happens to someone. I know more than one person that its happened to, and i know it feels terrible no matter what. But that doesnt mean that we are looking at it the right way. Hell, i've had someone die and it felt terrible, you arnt ever going to see them again, but, i guess, they are in another place now. If it was them who was suffering, than it should be their choice to go no matter how it makes us feel.
sorry to stop. Gilmore girls is on. Adios.
