Gentle reader, aralias asked me what ideas I had in the pipeline. I started to gather notes, but as some of the tabs stretched to like 15 pages worth of notes per idea (not all, but def some), I saw this was actually a MONUMENTAL task and decided to write out just--the short-hand way I think of a given idea, or something that will similarly make me go 'oh

as you say, no idea what i want from this list in many ways, because i dont know what the ideas ARE in most cases. so - happy to go with whatever prioritisation that you this is best (obviously working around the novel and PhD stuff - i'll call helena on monday, and see about giving them the money).

what i would like most, i think, is last of the chants. followed by some stuff with vaginas, i guess, as that's always really hot (who knew?). so - knox's, how to spend it, ABO. however - maybe you want to do something a bit different. interesting how many of these are sort of spin offs from the work that you've done this year in some ways (not trying to dilute the incredible power of your ideas - in a way, i'm just suggesting: each time you think of something, you'll probably get another SEVEN ideas from it). bdsm!verse works for me like ABO, so i guess i wish i was in a trashier fandom where i could get this awful stuff all the time. instead i have mah lovely bb!

i would be interested in some modern HEXes :) and molly would probably like also. i've been meaning to say to molly (who will probably read this, so thus this will possibly stand) that maybe we should make blakefest into a remix this year. or at least - the first part could e a remix? and you could either remix or HEX?

if you want to write something different, i'd be interested in seeing you writing some gen (and clearly, the people who aren't me also want this), and i would definitely like a post!terminal one - even though H/C isn't my thing. that said - it's sort of on my list. which doesn't mean i'll write it - but maybe i would. however, i also think it deeserves to be a genre like PGP, and it isn't. though i like soolin more than cally (sorry cally).

Re: spin-offs, it's down to how I'm brainstorming now, and how that generates a slew of fractal possibilities, and how sad I am to say 'no' to some of those ideas/roads not taken.

Interestingly only ONE of these is bdsmverse, and it's the one you know nothing at all about. The other three with some element of that are just bdsm.

Well I'd do it if it was just--where I was going to put the two Molly hexes, bc that's easy enough. The other thing about those hexes is, they're quick and easy. The hex of Willa's harem fic and the one of Territorial would be trickier. In a way Accounts Payable is an anti-hex, naturally.

Idk if anyone DOES want my gen, though I could def def give it to them. …both gen stories have slash codas though p much. Bc at some point in the planning process I remembered what I was.

Welllllll, it's not REALLY h/c, bc that's not My Genre and idk how to write it. And yes the Terminal AU could for sure be a genre.

I think that would be really fun! I would definitely enjoy the challenge. I worry about putting some people who'd be interested in a Blakefest off, but I think we should probably ultimately just decide what we'd most enjoy and see who comes for it (within reason, obviously).
