I would write a more detailed review, if I weren't still grinning over the tentacle monster/cephalopod in the waste disposal chute...now I'll be off to find some Star Wars/Doctor Who crossover fanfics...

I searched, I found and I am now mentally scarred for life...There are a few good over at crossover_news and even some in the crossover section of fanfiction.net, there are as well some with such interesting pairings as Jack/Chewbacca and some with really bad grammar/spelling. (But I still have no idea where I once read this one fic with the Master and the Doctor playing Darth Vader and Obi-Wan...)

As for more details, I fear everything I might have to add has already been said by others: science!porn, banter, Gallifreyan writing, etc. However, two parts I especially liked in this chapter were: "[...]he hissed into the Doctor’s face. The Doctor’s eyes widened and he swallowed, but he held his ground. [...], because, jep, that's so them. How many scences like this were in the series? The other one is: "[...]Do you know the game?” “I dabble,” the Master admitted, with a slight smirk that meant he was sickeningly good.[...]", because it made me smile, also it makes me want to see them play against each other...ah, well...

The Doctor/Master as Vader and Obi-Wan one? Yes it happened, unless I dreamed it up, but I doubt that. It taught me again to follow my own advice and save every interesting story I come across...or at least to remember where I read it. Or Jack/Chewbacca? Always remember Rule 34! And it's Jack...

Small things like in-show body language are important in an AU setting, because it makes the characters feel like them although their history/setting/etc. is changed (if I make sense here) ^^.

Oh god, sexy faux-chess *whimpers*. Yes, please!
