They left the car quickly, Leeteuk getting inside the building in a second. Kangin followed with slighly slower steps, sighing at his lover's antics. The leader was, for lack of a better term, bitchy.

They've had an hectic schedule this week, today being the worst of all days. It started ridiculously early at 4:30am and then driving to radio, rehearsal, meeting, radio again, filming a performance for TV and one more meeting. When the car picked Kangin at the radio 3:30 in the morning, and Leeutek from the meeting at almost 4, they were the only ones still not home. That, plus not having any time to themselves in the last 7 days (at least), was wearing Leeteuk's patience thin. Obviously.

“Damn it, stupid fucking elevator”

Kangin just watched curiously as his lover abused the elevator button, as if it was going to make the device work any faster. With a frustrated growl, the leader pressed it one last time, throwing his hands up when the numbers didn't change right away. Kangin just arched an eyebrow.

When the bell finally rang, signaling the arrival of the elevator, Leeutek stomped inside, crossing his arms and resting his body against the mirror. Kangin observed him slowly, noting the dark bags under his eyes, the frown on his normally smooth forehead. There was the closed posture too, usally so open and bright. He could even see the first wrinkle around his lover's mouth, his tired expression giving it away easily.

“Youngwoon, what you're doing? Get inside, I'm tired.” - Kangin was startled out of his observation by Leeuteuk's barked order, blinking and giving his lover a small smile before walking inside the elevator. He got a frown in return, doubled with an exasperated turn of head.

Kangin sighed and could feel his patience almost running out, surprising himself. He had never, ever lost it with Leeutek. There were some fights, but at least the leader was indeed trying to make him mad at those. Now he was just being infuriating. Between barely acknowledging the little kiss when they greeted (normally those would relax him into a pile of goo after a tiring day), not smiling even once, sitting stiffly in the corner of the car, smashing the elevator button and the string of curse words, he was gnawing on Kangin's curiosity.

“Teukie...” he started hesitantly “What happened?” He got close to the other, hand resting on his shoulder and body getting close by habit. Leeteuk failed to relax even one little bit. No arms around his neck or exausthed giggle on his chest. Second try was the caressing of his arm, slowly, comforting. Nothing.

“Nothing happened.” He barely looked at Kangin's eyes, instead diverting his gaze to the buttons on the opposite side of the elevator. His face transformed to almost anger once more. “Damnit Kangin, you didn't press the fucking button? What the hell is wrong with you!!?” The blonde tried to push his lover out of the way to get to said buttons, but Kangin just shook his head, turning around with the intent of doing it, a whispered curse leaving his mouth between his teeth.

His hand hovered over the buttons, tired eyes trying to find the 13. Fitting number, he thought absently. And that second was when a bright ideia came to his mind. With a mischivious smile, he quickly pressed all the buttons, turning to look at his lover as his finger finally touched the 30. He bit his lip, trying to stay composed as he watched Leeteuk, who had his eyes closed.

The leader opened his eyes when he heard the beep and the doors opening, quickly checking the floor with uninterested eyes, his body already moving to the corridor. That turned to yet another frown and gritted teeth when he noticed the bright red number 1 mocking him and then a hilarious open mouthed expression of surprise when he noted the buttons all lighted up like a christmas tree. Kangin couldn't help but double over in a fit of laugther.

“Haha...ha! Sorry Teukie...haha!! Sorry!” Leeutek was fuming, looking at him with a murderous expression as the doors closed.

Kangin was a bit surprised when a fist collided with his shoulder, not an ounce of playfulness behind it. He hissed, lifting a hand for protection in case of another blow, but let it pass since he brought it upon himself. Kangin walked to his lover instead, who was burning a hole in the wall with his glare, arms crossed tightly around himself. The tears on the corners of his eyes told him everything he needed to know tough. He smiled.

“Teukie...” He grabbed one of the thin wrists gently but firmly, his other arm going around Leeteuk's shoulder. “Teukie, come here.” Kangin tugged a little, until he had the tense form of his lover between his arms. “I know you're tired-”

“Then why did you-” Leeteuk's indignant voice was interrupted by a peck to his lips, to which he moaned and trashed tiredly in protest.

“Shh... Relax...” Kangin grabbed Leeteuk's other wrist and made him embrace his larger form. Then his big arms went around the leader in the most conforting manner, shielding him from the world. “Relax Jungsu-ah.”

That seemed to have done it, a low sob leaving Eeteuk's mouth as he buried his head in the strong chest and his hands fisted themselves on Kangin's shirt.

Kangin knew that now was not the best time to ask and did his very best to hold his tongue. Leaning down, he kissed his lover's temple and started to rock with him slowly, gently.

The only sounds until floor number 5 were Teukie's soft sobs and the ding of the doors. On their way to sixth floor, the leader spoke with a tiny voice:

“I'm just so... “ He drew in a shaky breath, drying his tears on Kangin's shirt. “...tired.” He didn't dare to look up at his lover's face, ashamed of finally breaking under the pressure. “I'm the leader, I can't be like that...” his voice was getting frantic, eyes wide and almost unseeing. “You guys depend on me and I can't- “ Another peck broke his rant, just like the last one.

Kangin broke the kiss to look at Leeteuk's eyes intently, one hand coming up to brush the fringe off his face and caress his cheek. With a peaceful, fond smile, he dried the remaning tears on his lover's startled face with gentle swips of his thumb and finally gave a teasing pull at the end of his long earring. Leeteuk sighed and closed his eyes, finally relaxing the rest of the way, trusting him with his whole body weight. And right now, that meant so much more .

Kangin just rested like that for a couple floors, basking in their closeness, in the way all the lenght of Leeteuk's body was molded firmly against his. When the display showed 10, he lifted his head, using a hand under Teukie's chin to draw him into a slow kiss. Just lips moving against lips, feeling, enjoying the warmth. It took some seconds for the leader's brain to understand the situation, but when it did, Leeteuk's right arm left Kangin's waist to rest around his neck.

They were already at 12 when Kangin finally used his tongue to part Leeteuk's soft, pliant lips. A moan echoed, none of them knew anymore how long they had gone without this sort of intimate contact.

They ignored it completely when the elevator stopped at 13.

When the display flashed 30, Kangin was feeling proud. He had finally got his first smile of the week.
