Today one of my third graders said
he was grateful for me
because i make him happy
and i like to play kickball.
plus i dont yell if he didnt finish
his homework.

These were some of the items on their list:

for friends
and moms

and fish
for cereal
and milk
and cookies
and cream
for baseball
for pizza
for stickers
the sky
the grass
the birds that sing
for everything that's blue
or green
for tv
and cars
and chapter books
for umbrellas
FOR LOVE.

what is there to ever be unhappy about?
