Sooo I've been back for about three days now and still haven't updated this thing. I s'pose I'll do that now. Enjoy!
Ashley and I flew from Georgia to Texas first where we had dinner with Rosanna and Todd. That was awesome for the sole reason that I was having dinner with my sister right before I got to see my brother. The conversation wasn't anything worth mentioning, mainly just revolved around my vegetarianism and the cruise they were about to take. After the meal, it was off to Cali!
It was awesome. Rachel (Richard's fiancee`) is a hoot, she kept us laughing the entire time. We went sledding in snow that came up to our chests. It was ridiculously fun. Richard, Ashley and I didn't have snowboots so we kept falling through the 3-4 feet of snow. Ashley tried to jump from the bank of a creek to the other side...teehee...the bank gave way - avalanche!!! Now that was funny. I jumped and ended up with my face in the side of the cliff thingy. Richard had to jump down and push us up to the top.
San Francisco is a lively place. We saw this comedian guy who cracked everyone up. He was freakin' hilarious. A lot of adult jokes though and there were tons of children present. But...he was still a funny dude. Ashley and I were drawn by some guy on the street, Rachel and Richard were too - Richard had lots of stubble, Rachel had tig ol' bitties, and I had blue eyes. Cute pictures. We saw the seals and hung out at Fishermen's Wharf all day.
We went to Old Sacramento and chilled out there for a little. There was this candy store where you could eat as much taffy as you wanted as long as you ate it in the store. So Ashley and I filled up my pockets with taffy. Muwahahaha!
I got to see Constantine which was a pretty good movie. Ashley and I spent some time at the pool and in the hot tub and making daiquiries and eating at this awesome vegetarian place called Fresh Choice. We also ate at this chinese place called Fats. The atmosphere was awesome but the food wasn't as fantastic as the price of it implied.
The trip ended with a visit to the emergency room. Rachel started puking blood...she has been throwing up too much in the pregnancy and something burst in her esophogus (a blister or something) - she's fine now though. No worries mates. The wedding is in two weeks. Gosh...Richard will be married in two weeks...that's just too strange for words.
Ashley and I got off the place about 11, spent two hours searching for a ride from the airport back home and (after being denied by 13 different people) finally called number 14 (Jared) and had him pick us up. So I got home around 2:30. Jake came over that night, we hung. Then, Saturday, Jake and Ashley and I all spent the night in my bed. Talk about interesting situations. It was great ^_^
Sunday night was family dinner night at the grandfolks house. Georgia, Charles and I went up there and ate with everyone. I got to see Andrew again (I haven't seen this cousin in 11 years or so - big falling out with the family). He's a million laughs. Sasha divulged to me that Raymond wants to go on a double date. Richard and his girlfriend Ashley, Raymond and me. He tried to talk Richard into it, told him that I'd be more comfortable with the idea if Richard were there. He went on about this Princess thing...Like, okay. I told Raymond once that my ideal love situation is to find that Princess/Prince Charming relationship. Because...in all honesty...that is my ideal love situation. I mean, it makes sense, doesn't it? I watch enough Disney to want that. Anyboo...since then, he's called me Princess. Just his thing. Well, he told Sasha that he wanted to be my Prince Charming and blah blah blah. But...he isn't my Prince Charming and he isn't ever going to be my Prince Charming and...yea. Poor guy needs to find himself a girl that isn't me.
Sunday night was the first night that I have slept alone in three weeks. It was storming, thundering, raining and I slept like a baby. It was a beautiful thing.
Jake spent the night last night. I picked him up after dinner with the rats. Jake, mum, and I had a serious discussion about Charles being similar to Charlie. She divulged things that she hasn't even told me yet. Must have been the medication. She's on way too many medications...she has bronchitus and some form of asthma and other crap. The spanish children got her and Kathy Rosa sick. Ugh...anyboo. Jake came over and, after the talk, we went into my room. I did some homework while he read then we both read. It was odd. It didn't feel odd, but I'm sure to anyone who would have walked in it looked odd. We were just sitting there, reading quietly to ourselves and perfectly content with the situation. It was nice.
On that note, that's my entry. Enjoy!
