On the recent broadcast, creatures known as Hollows were mentioned. Now, I.. humans aren't supposed to see them, but..

Has anyone seen them? They range in size, but they are always masked, and come in several shapes and forms as well ( Read more... )

There's really no ultimate description. Hollows exist to devour the souls of the living in order to survive. The mask, which often looks like solid bone, can take on several shapes. And there are several types of hollows, as well; the more feral and low-level Hollow usually takes the form of an animal or a creature... the menos grande are tall, black, and ghost-like, and then there are arrancar, who look human, and are extremely powerful.

But the mask is the key to the hollow's distinction. If you see that, then you've more than likely found a hollow, and you need to clear the area immediately.
