Yeah, he's a great 'dad' isn't he? He's worried about me since I first came ta live with him. I just... wish he wouldn't worry so much, though. Or do things like give me money. He needs to worry more about himself. ...and not burning water.

Actually... I've got no idea how he does it, he just... DOES. He gets distracted by things. Usually reads when he cooks.

...you know, actually I didn't think it was possible myself. But then I watched the kitchen curtains go up in flames. It was... Well, it's kind of painful to talk about. But it's definitely the reason I learned to cook. Or we'd starve to death.

People always said Shishou was talented. They just never specified if they meant at martial arts or the destruction of helpless kitchens.

Heh, yeah it must be. Gotta tell ya, after livin' with that man since I was six, havin' ta grab the fire extinguisher constantly has helped with the quick reflexes. And people wonder why I'm so jumpy sometimes.
